Owners Margaret and Robert Beardslee bring over 50 years
of experience to the shop. Margaret Beardslee (nee Ricardo) owned and operated the original
Talays Runners Shop in Randwick with Bob Talay. Robert owned and operated the Gold Coast Runners Shop.
Margaret is two times World Age Champion in Duathlon, and World
Champion in 2009 Masters Games 50+ Half Marathon. Coaches middle
and long distance runners, duathletes and triathletes. Robert competed in the collegiate system in the US, trained under Arthur Lydiard in NZ, represented Qld in National XC, and is Head coach of Mingara Athletics Club.
The shop prides itself in fitting customers to the very best shoe
for their needs. Staff are knowledgable assistants who are all fitness enthusiasts and are able to assist customers to purchase the best suited products to their needs.
Michelle Garraway
Began sports shoe retail experience in 1980's at Talays Runners Shop Ultimo. Her valuable knowledge learned also with first hand running and putting 3 children through Terrigal Little 1995-2002 |
Sandy Hickson brings valuable experience to the store as she has been running since the '70's. Starting with the well known Northern Sydney club Go Jog, she has run 100's of fun runs from 5km to the Marathon. She now runs regularly with the Terrigal Trotters, and still competes over many distances up to the Half Marathon. |
