Owners Margaret and Robert Beardslee bring over 50 years of experience to the shop. Margaret Beardslee (nee Ricardo) owned and operated the original Talays Runners Shop in Randwick with Bob Talay. Robert owned and operated the Gold Coast Runners Shop.

Margaret is two times World Age Champion in Duathlon, and World Champion in 2009 Masters Games 50+ Half Marathon. Coaches middle and long distance runners, duathletes and triathletes. Robert competed in the collegiate system in the US, trained under Arthur Lydiard in NZ, represented Qld in National XC, and is Head coach of Mingara Athletics Club.
